Guidry, Dorothy M., 90 passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
She was the beloved daughter of Harry W. and Emma M. Smith. Dorothy retired from the practice of Dr. Layman Gray and Dr. Hiram Polk at University Surgical Associates. She was a longtime member of the American Business Women’s Association where she was honored, in her chapter, as Business Woman of the Year, 1984.
She served on the Board of Directors at El Conquistador Condominiums, where she resided, until relocating to Twinbrook Nursing Home, nka Seneca Place. At Twinbrook, she served as President of their Resident Council for 2 years. Our family will never forget the quality of care she received, from her aides, nurses and all the staff in her 7 years of residency there.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Donna Seales (Lloyd), her grandsons Sean Seales, Todd Seales (Veronica), and Keith Seales (Allison), and her precious great grandchildren, Jack, Logan and Meredith Seales. Our Mom and Nana was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
