Carl Peter Scheig, of South Weymouth, passed away suddenly and peacefully, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.
Carl will be greatly missed by his wife of 33 years, Carol Forbes Scheig, his daughter Lindsey Scheig Rakers and her husband Gary of N. Weymouth, his mother Bonnie-Jean Scheig of S. Weymouth, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dana and Judy Forbes of Pembroke, his nephew Nathan Frederick Forbes of Weymouth, his niece Emily Anne Forbes of Abington, and many family and friends. Carl grew up in New Haven Connecticut and spent many happy summers in Ipswich, MA with his family. Carl loved his family and friends, music, and reading everything he could get his hands on.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Colombian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday, September 20, from 4-8 p.m.
A Memorial Service for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
