Irene (Compton) Pickett, 81, passed away September 15, 2014. She was a member of Scottsville Baptist Church and attended Cloverleaf Baptist Church, and retired from Mother’s Cookies. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, L.C. Pickett. Survived by her son, Ricky Pickett (Donna); daughters, Vicki L. Gorth (Ron) and Rhonda Bratcher (Stan); grandchildren, Ashley Thompson (Dave), Brittany, Dean, Wade, Jessica Schramm (Brian), Christy Whitney, Madison Gorth, Matthew Bratcher and Courtney Hicks (Zach); great grandchildren, Brooke, Brian, Logan, Brendan, Rhett, Tom and Owen. Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Thursday at Cloverleaf Baptist Church, 4401 Manslick Road with burial in Orr Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
