Nancy J. (Kane) Christie, 81, died with her family by her side on Sept. 15, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born on August 23, 1933 in Natick, Mass the daughter of the late George and Lena (Walker) Kane. Nancy was raised and educated in Natick and was a 1951 graduate of Natick High School.
She married the love of her life Charlie and they shared 63 wonderful years together. They lived in Natick and eventually moved to Dover, Mass. Together they raised four children. Family was of utmost importance to her. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida and loved spending summers at their home on Cape Cod. Her eleven grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved attending their sporting events and especially cherished holiday times spent together. Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 sons Bill and his wife Laurie and Jeff Christie, 2 daughters Lori Connelly and her husband Michael and Carolyn Moriarty and her husband Brian. She also leaves her eleven grandchildren, Brad, Keryn, Ryan, Kristen Connelly, Bailey, Matthew, Craig and Kevin Christie and Colin, Jack, and Brooke Moriarty, in laws Janet Kane, Barbara Kane, Jerry and Jenny Cochran and Margaret Beaver. She was the sister of the late George, Richard and Donald Kane and Marguerite Hill. In addition she will be missed by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Her Funeral will take place on Saturday, September 20th at 10:30 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church. Visiting hours are Friday Sept. 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
