Rissie (Miller) Heaverin, 94, went home to her Lord, Monday, September 1, 2014 at the residence of her Daughter in Metter, Georgia.
She was born in Leitchfield, KY. To Valentine “Vollie” & Carrie (Meredith) Miller.
She was a member of the old St. Clements Catholic Church, now St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, the Seniors Friendship Club, and had worked in the lunchroom at Wilkerson Elementary for over 18 years.
Rissie was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 65 years, Paul A. Heaverin; her Son: Thomas Earl Heaverin; and her Parents.
Survivors include her Daughter: Sharon Ann Uribe (Rodrigo); her Daughter-In-Law: Bernice (Adams) Heaverin; 5 Grandchildren: Michael Thomas Heaverin, Roderick Uribe (Jennifer), Laura Heaverin Sutton, John-Thomas Uribe, and Paul William Uribe; 6 Great Grandchildren: John-Walker, Sara, Roderick III, Carmen, Giuliana, and Mary Grace; a Brother: Charles Miller and a Sister: Esther Bess (Eddie).
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Rd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be held 2:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
