Serafim F. Oliveira, age 89 of Fall River passed away September 12, 2014. He was the husband of the late Elisa M. (Francisco) Oliveira and son of the late João and Julia (Oliveira) Fernandes. He had worked as a machine operator at Quaker Fabric, and was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church.
He was the father of Isabel Ferreira (husband Raul) of Fall River, Herminio Oliveira (wife Fatima) of Fall River and Manuel Oliveira (wife Susan) of Somerset, brother of Florencio and Belmiro Fernandes both of Portugal and the late Maria Fernandes, grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 1 and uncle to several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River TUESDAY at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 10 A.M. Calling hours 7:30 – 9:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. www.rogersfunberal.com
