Mrs. Augusta Mary (Borzumato) Dadiego, a resident of Andover for more than 50 years and beloved wife of Joseph W. Dadiego, died at the Prescott House in North Andover on Sunday morning, September 7, 2014. She was 82 years old.
Born in Hudson, Massachusetts, on September 4, 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Battisti) Borzumato. Mrs. Dadiego enjoyed writing, sewing, baking and cooking in her spare time. She had worked as an operator at Andover Bank for several years. Above all, Augusta was a very devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Besides her loving husband, she will be missed by her children; Augusta Marie Dadiego of Ashburn, Virginia and Joseph W. and his wife Micheline Dadiego of North Andover, sister; Barbara Meyer and husband Ronald Meyer of New York City, two brothers; Lawrence Borzumato and wife Judy Borzumato of Rhode Island, Paul Lawrence(who predeceased her) and wife Ellen Lawrence, and granddaughter; Gabrielle.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, Essex Street, Andover, MA on Friday, September 12, 2014, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Friday, September 11, 2014, from 6 to 8 PM.
