Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, September 10, 2014, Rebecca Stewart Brewer, 84, wife of the late Bobby Forrest Brewer.
Mrs. Brewer was an active member of St. Luke United Methodist Church until her illness. Her walk with God was truly an inspiration to her family and loved ones. Those who knew her best will always treasure her compassion, her witty personality and her love of family.
Family members include daughters: Helena Brewer Dixon, Deborah Gail Beard (Randy) and Rebecca Alicia Golding (Jeff); nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister: Jenny S. Narrie (Dave); and sister-in-law: Barbara Stewart. Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her daughter: Aayrelle Marika “Mickey” Burg ; son: Bobby F. Brewer, Jr.; mother: Adele McDougal Stewart; father: Julian Delane Stewart; sister: Sondra Taliaferro; brother: William Esley Stewart
A memorial service will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Jason Mitchem officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church at 309 Crawford Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
