Laconia-----Barbara Jean (Bedard) Dorman, 59, of 24 Estates Circle #17, died unexpectedly at her son’s and daughter-in-law’s home in Salisbury on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014.
Mrs. Dorman was born March 20, 1955 in West Stewartstown, N.H., the daughter of the late Noel and Sylvia (Uran) Bedard.
Mrs. Dorman was a longtime resident of West Stewartstown before moving to Laconia eight years ago. She had been employed at the Airport Country Store in Gilford and at the D & D Country Store and Deli in Belmont for eight years.
Mrs. Dorman lived for her family and loved her kids and husband. She was a beautiful and happy lady and was a loving and supporting wife and mom. She embraced life and enjoyed bringing people together.
Mrs. Dorman loved concerts, knitting and baseball and was a Red Sox fan.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years, Wendell Dorman, of Laconia; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Melissa Dorman, of Salisbury, N.H.; a daughter, Stacy Dorman, of Laconia; two brothers, Noel Bedard, Jr. of Concord, N.H. and David Bedard of Sturbridge, Mass. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Sylvia and Noel Bedard, Sr.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Andre Bessette Parish, St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H.
