DOYLE, Eleanor J. "Ellie" (Greenan) Of West Roxbury, September 7, 2014. Daughter of the late Eleanor and Joseph Greenan. Beloved wife of the late John "Johnny" Doyle. Eleanor and John especially enjoyed their time spent at their cottage in York, ME. Sister of Joseph Greenan of Hopkinsville, KY; John J. (Carol) Greenan of Indian Head, MD; Hugh J. Greenan (Mary) of St. Johnsbury, VT; the late William Greenan of Florida; and sister-in-law of the late Georgia Greenan of North Carolina. Also survived by her cousin Ann Muller of Norwood, a niece and many nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Ellie was a retiree of New England Telephone Co. and a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a member of IBEW Local 2222. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Friday, Sept. 12th at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church at 10 o'clock. Visiting hours Thursday 6-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment New Calvary Cemetery.
