William E. Story Jr. of Nashua, NH formerly of Bridgton, ME and Wilmington, MA passed away unexpectedly September 3, 2014. He was 74 years of age. William was the beloved husband of the late Beverly A. (Rowe). Born in Cambridge, MA he was the son of the late William and Gertrude (Hanley) Story.

William was resident of Nashua, NH for the past eight years. He was raised and educated in Cambridge, MA and eventually settled in Wilmington where he resided for many years prior to living in Bridgton, ME. He was a retired electrician and was a proud member of the IBEW local 103 of Boston. William was also a proud Veteran and honorably served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. He loved following the Red Sox and enjoyed cooking for family and hanging around with his friends in town. However his greatest joy was to be with his daughters and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, William is predeceased by his sister, June Costa, and brother, Paul Story. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Flemming and her husband Karl of Dracut, Brenda Lacey and her husband Joseph of Ayer. He was the loving grandfather of Ryan Flemming, Jessica and Skylar Lacey. Brother of David Story of Malden.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, MA, Thursday, September 11th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday at the Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held from 3 thru 7 p.m. Services will conclude with military honors burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
