Obituary

NATICK: Joseph C. Jarrett, age 84, a longtime Natick resident, died peacefully on Thursday morning, September 4, 2014, at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. He was the devoted husband of Joan P. (Moran) Jarrett for 39 years.

Born in Hodgdon, Maine, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bessie (Fanjoy) Jarrett. Joe was raised in Lynn, and after graduating from Lynn English High School, he entered the Army. He served overseas with the rank of Corporal during the Korean War.

Joe honed his skills as a mechanical engineer and became employed with Regal Press and remained employed with the company at the time of his death. He had made his home with Joan in Natick after their 1975 marriage, and the two were happiest in each other’s company ever since. Joe was a parishioner of Saint Theresa of Lisieux Church in Sherborn, and loved time spent with his daughter and her family.

He is survived by Joan; their daughter Debra L. Webster and her husband Bob of Fremont, NH; and two grandchildren, Richard J. Webster of Haverhill, and Samantha M. Webster of Fremont.

His Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in Saint Theresa of Lisieux Church, 35 South Main Street (Rte 27), Sherborn, on Wednesday, Sept. 10th at 10:00AM. Burial will be private.

Donations may be made in Joe’s memory to the Mass Association for the Blind, 200 Ivy Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
