Ruth Norman
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, September 3, 2014, Mrs. Ruth A. Norman, 95, loving wife to the late Reginald Norman.
Mrs. Norman was a native of Elberton, GA but lived in Augusta for the last 64 years. She loved kids and babysat often for many. She also loved animals, flowers, and traveling.
Family members include daughters: Jean Floyd and her husband Darrell, Faye Harris and her husband Don; grandchildren: Steven Floyd, Toni Birmingham; great grandchildren: Shana, Chan, Alexis, and Kaylie; and her sister: Mary Wright. She is preceded in death by her son: Howard Norman; sisters: Grace Jones, Nora Shelton; and by her brothers: Amos Alexander and Roy Alexander.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mark Maund and Chaplain Barbara Grace officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 P.M. in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Elberton, GA.
