Obituary

FALL RIVER… Frank Edward Urban, 89, lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away September 1, 2014 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center .
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary (Drewniak) Urban. He was the widow of Angela (Siembab) Urban. Frank served in the United States Army during WWII.
Mr. Urban was employed at Chace Curtain in Fall River, retiring in 1987 after 27 years. He also worked at the former Winnissimet Dairy in Tiverton, RI, worked as a carpenter and wallpapered as well. He was a member of the Koscuiszko Men’s Club, enjoyed Polish dances and festivals and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include two Daughters: Barbara Walsh of Waltham, Christine Febbo of Port Charlotte FL, a Son: Edward Urban of Burke VA, a Sister: Phyllis Sliva of Westport, a Brother: Richard Urban of Fall River, 8 Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ann Kalil.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 36 Rockland Street, Fall River, MA. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday from 5-8PM
