METHUEN – Sr. M. Joanna Morin, 82 passed away Wednesday September 3, 2014 at the Saint Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary in Methuen, MA.
Born in East Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Aurore Morin. Sr. M. Joanna attended St. Therese of East Blackstone, MA, entering the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary where she served the community as a cook. She then located to Methuen where she worked in the Early Childhood Program at the Presentation of Mary.
Sr. Joanna is survived by two sisters, Therese Desjardins and Cecile Morin; one brother Armand Morin.
Visiting hours for family and friend will be Friday from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. with a prayer service at 4:00p.m. at the Saint Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary 209 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30a.m. in the Chapel of the Presentation of Mary with burial to follow in the Presentation of Mary Cemetery.
