Ronald R. “Uncle Ronnie” Pariseau, 81, son of deceased parents Alvin and Dorothy (Hebert) Pariseau, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen, Massachusetts.
Born and raised in Andover, Massachusetts, Ron graduated from Punchard High School and the New England Institute of Anatomy, Sanitary Science and Embalming of Boston, Massachusetts.
Ron enjoyed many different hobbies, including flying his personal aircraft, carpentry projects and tending to his beloved dogs.
As a young man, Ron worked as a deck hand on the Mount Washington ship on Lake Winnipesaukee. Ron also worked as an embalmer for Lundgren Funeral Home of Andover. Later in life, Ron worked as a home builder and swimming pool installer.
Ron is survived by his sister, Arlene M. Cairns, of Vero Beach, Florida; stepson Bill Lane of Pelham, New Hampshire; several nephews and a niece: Garry Cairns and his wife Marion of Salem, New Hampshire; Robert Cairns and his wife Rhonda of Londonderry, New Hampshire; Glenn Cairns and his wife Jane of Andover, Massachusetts; Linda and her husband Rob Gostanian of Andover, Massachusetts and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Ron is also survived by his former spouse: Joan and her extended family.
Friends may pay their respects at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Massachusetts, on Thursday, September 4, 2014, from 10 to 11 AM. A brief memorial service will be held, in the funeral home, at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover.
