Obituary

Hooksett– Michael J. Puglisi, 61, passed away on August 31, 2014 after a long battle with kidney cancer.
He was born on May 4, 1953 in Manchester NH, the son of Joseph Puglisi and the late Joan (Harrington) Puglisi. He attended Manchester schools and graduated from Trinity High School in 1971 and from Berlin NH, Vocational Technical College in 1973 with an Associates Degree in culinary arts.
He held various jobs in Southern NH and retired from Teradyne Connection Systems in Nashua with 21 years of service.
Michael enjoyed cooking, gardening, and travel to places by the seaside.
He leaves behind his father, Joseph Puglisi, and his wife, Claire of Columbia, NH, his brother David Puglisi and his wife, Carolyn, and their two sons, Christopher and Matthew of Pensacola, FL., his brother Gary Puglisi of Colebrook, NH, his brother, Alan Puglisi and Terry of Manchester NH. He also leaves his uncle, Don Provencher, and Don’s two granddaughters, Maeghan and Molly Provencher.
He was predeceased by his special Aunt, Frances “Sis” Provencher. He also leaves his roommate of 30 years, Bob Maurier of Hooksett, NH and Bob’s extended family. He is survived by many cousins from the Puglisi and Young Families.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Home, Health & Hospice Care for the care they provided for Michael.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. Manchester, NH.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack NH 03054.
