Brian M. Andrews age 36 of Methuen, MA, died Saturday at Mass General Hospital, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
He was born and raised, and was a lifelong resident of Methuen, MA, where he graduated from Methuen High School. He later received his associate’s degree from Northern Essex.
Brian was a Paralegal for American Tower Corporation in Woburn, MA. Brian was a loyal employee and a good friend. He enjoyed reading, watching TV, and was an avid fan of wrestling. He enjoyed music and played the ukulele. He learned 2 languages through Rosetta Stone. He was a good son and brother, and loved his niece and nephew and his 2 cats.
He was predeceased by his father: John P. Andrews and his Aunt and God Mother: Cathy Andrews Martin.
He is survived by his mother: Ellen M. (Toohey) Andrews of Salem, NH
Sister: Alison and her husband Brian Boucher of Salem
Niece and Nephew: Briana and Braeden Boucher
Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, Sept. 4th from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 5th at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Caring for a Cure. A donation basket and explanation of the fund will be provided at the funeral home.
