Charlotte G. (Hansen) Gilcreast passed away peacefully, Friday, August 29, 2014 at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth, MA.
Charlotte will be greatly missed by her husband of 61 years, Frank Gilcreast, Sr., her children, Sandra Brawders and her husband James, Susan Fitzpatrick and her husband Robert, Frank Gilcreast, Jr. and his wife Kathryn, her grandchildren Frank Gilcreast III, Gregory Brawders, Rebecca and Casey Fitzpatrick, her brother Paul Hansen, her friend of 80 years Eileen Murphy, and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte, a life-long Weymouth resident, was 1 of 6 children of Herbert and Agnes Hansen. She worked as a bookkeeper at the former Bethlehem Steel in Quincy. She loved spending time with her family and friends, working in her yard, traveling and spending time at Lake Shore Park in Gilford, N.H.
The Funeral Service will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday, September 5 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Weymouth.
