Olene Joy Tyler, 70, of Derry, NH, died Monday September 1, 2014, at her residence in Derry, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Park City, UT on October 17, 1943, a daughter of the late Eddie L., Jr. and Mariola (Jones) Cluff, Mrs. Tyler was born and raised in Park City, UT and had been a resident of Derry for the past 7 years, formerly living in Dracut, MA.
Mrs. Tyler was employed as a technician with Wang Laboratories of Lowell, MA for 18 years. She was a longtime member of AARP and enjoyed crafting and attending craft shows and selling her wares. She will forever be missed and remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bernard L. Tyler, Jr. of Derry; two sons and their wives, Donald W. and Elaine Tyler of Litchfield, NH and their daughters, Cassie and Emily, Jeffrey S. and Rosie Tyler of Dracut, MA their daughter, Kayla and son Joshua; one daughter and her husband, Deborah and Jeff McCutchan of Mesa, AZ and their son Gary; her sister and her husband, Viola and Arlin Genness of Thorpe, WI; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a beloved granddaughter, Ashli Vandenbroeke in 2010.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 1 to 4 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium , 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. Funeral services will be held Monday September 8 at 10am in the funeral home and will conclude with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH.
