Jesufina Monteiro (80) of Brockton died August 30th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the widow of Jaime J. Monteiro.
She was born in Mosterios, Fogo, Cape Verde daughter of the late Nicolau M. Teixeira and Julia Da Rosa and resided in Brockton since 1985. Jesufina enjoyed cooking, watching Brazilian soap opera's, and socializing with family and friends.
Survivors include 5 sons, Jaime Monteiro Jr. of Cape Verde, Licinio of Pawtucket, RI, Abner of Orlando Fla., Nicolau and Valdemiro Monterio both of Brockton, 2 daughters, Maria Pereira and Flora Monteiro, also the late Natalia Monteiro, 3 sisters Zaida Da Rosa of Brockton, Ana Da Rosa of New Bedford and Alcinda Martin of Taunton, many grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday September 7th from 3-9 pm. Burial will take place in the Cemeterio de Laranjo in Mosterios, Fogo, Cape Verde on Wednesday September 10th.
