Donald Ray Bunch Sr., 69, of Brandenburg, Kentucky died Saturday, August 30, 2014 surrounded by family.
He was born January 13, 1945 in Louisville to the late Katherine Collins and John Bunch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Melissa Staley Bosco.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Catherine (Riedinger) Bunch; children, Donald Ray Bunch Jr., of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lori Walters (Randy) of Brandenburg, Phillip Bunch (Mandy) of Louisville, and Crystal Adcock (Matt) of Brandenburg; 13 grandchildren, Ashley Herbert (Vince), Desirae Walters (Jesse), Danielle Schutt, Chris Walters, Danielle, Sierra, Eric, Thomas, Noah and Sadie Bunch, Ryan Dunaway , Jesse and Rachel Adcock; four great grandchildren, Talan and Brayden Herbert, Stacy Walters and Loreli Schutt; a sister, Sharon Staley of Louisville and a host of many extended family members.
He was retired from Shell Oil Company and owner of Computer’s Your Way where he enjoyed serving the community.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
