Obituary

Mary Anne Nolette, 63, of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua. She was born on November 19, 1950 in Nashua, NH, a daughter of the late William and Ida (Nadeau) Rodonis, Sr. She grew up as part of the well-known Rodonis farming family, something she was very proud of. Mary Anne was a graduate of Alvirne High School and Daniel Webster College. She continued her education at Rivier College where she received her Master’s Degree in Business Management. She worked as a Business Manager and Financial Analyst for Sanders and through transition to Lockheed Martin and then BAE Systems. She retired from BAE after 30 years of service in June of 2012.
Mary was known for sharing not only of herself but her wonderful cooking and baking creations. Many of those who worked with Mary looked forward to her annual baking of the Strawberry specialties as well a generous supply of cookies, muffins, and other baking surprises throughout the year. Her love of cooking extended to preparing many meals for family, extended family and friends, especially round the holidays.
Mary Anne loved spending time at her retirement home in Ft. Myers, FL, where she loved walking the renown beaches of Sanibel, enjoying amassing thousands of shells throughout the years. True to her family’s farming roots, Mary Anne enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers around her home. Mary Anne especially loved her beloved pets Toby, Annie and Murphy.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Michael Nolette of Londonderry, and three brothers, Joseph Rodonis and William Rodonis, Jr., both of Litchfield, NH, and Richard Rodonis of North Dakota. There are also numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 3 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Travis Fund for Needy Animals at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, 200 Westboro Road, North Grafton, MA 01536.
