V. Banks Bowling, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 29, 2014, Mr. V. Banks Bowling, Jr., 73, loving husband of 56 years to Lorraine Bowling.
Mr. Bowling was an avid golfer and he loved sports. He was the owner of Wheel and Deal Tires. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Deborah Hill of Brunswick, GA, Kelley McClure (Chris) of Nicholson, GA; son: Trey Bowling (Amanda) of Martinez, GA; grandchildren: Tate, Victoria, Mackenzie, Alexzandra, Aleciea, Madison, and Banks; and a brother: Dwight H. Bowling. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vic and Martha Bowling, and by his sister, Nan Smith.
A memorial service will be Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Roger Bennett officiating.
