Thomas F. Roach of Reading died Tuesday, August 26 in the Winchester Hospital. Born in Boston, he was the son of James N. and Hertha (Horn) Roach. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Thomas worked as a steamship clerk.

He was the loving brother of the late James, Arthur, George, Henry, Helen, Hirtha and Mary Roach, and uncle of Jimmy, Tommy and Paul Roach. Thomas is also survived by his sister-in-law Dorothy Roach of Stow, his cousin Mary Teveens of Pembroke, and longtime friend Timothy Gilday of Reading.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Thomas's name to the Mass. Humane Society at www.masshumane.org.
