Murray and his wife Janice of Stratham, NH, and John M. Murray and his wife Susan of Needham. Grandfather of Danielle, Jessica, Samantha, John, Brian, Nicholas, and Angela. Brother of Robert P. Murray of Milton. Brother-in-law of Helen D. Murray of Dennis. Step-father of Cheryl Fussell of Waltham, Helen Gormley of Sudbury, Christine Fussell of Marstons Mills, and the late Donald Fussell. Step-grandfather of Jennifer, Theresa, Dianna, Stephanie, Julicia, and the late Shayla. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jack was a retired circulation manager for the Boston Globe and Transcript Newspapers. Past Grand Knight and longtime member of the Needhom K of C #1611 and member of the 4th degree K of C. Active parishioner of St. Pius X Church, South Yarmouth. World War II Navy Veteran.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Saturday, August 30 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday, August 29 from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
