Francis L. Gannon, 63, died August 25, 2014 in the Wrentham Developmental Center. He leaves three brothers, Paul J. and his wife Joanne of Southborough, David W. of Worcester and Robert C. of Northbridge. He leaves a nephew and two nieces, Paul Jr., Justine Gannon and Julie Leyshon and her husband Bradley. He also leaves a great niece and nephew.
Francis was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard C. Gannon Sr. and Ann R. (Alu) Gannon-Moriarty. Francis was the brother of the late Richard C. Gannon, Jr. The family extends their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Wrentham Developmental Center for their exceptional care of Francis over the years.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury on Friday, August 29, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Wrentham Developmental Center, Special Gift Fund in memory of Francis Gannon, P.O. Box 144, Wrentham, MA 02093.
