BILLERICA - Mrs. Judith A. (O’Regan) McNeil, age 75, a former restaurant manger, died peacefully Monday morning, August 25, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica with her family at her side.
She was born in Chelsea, August 11, 1939, a daughter of Myrtle (Pye) O’Regan of Topsfield, and the late Gerald O’Regan. She was raised in Chelsea, and graduated Chelsea High School. She had lived in Billerica since 1969.
She worked as a restaurant manager at several well known area restaurants including the Bedford Glen, Thackery’s, and the 99’s on Boston Road in Billerica.
She will be remembered for her devotion to her children and grandchildren, and her desire to show up for every sports event or Karate meet her grandchildren were involved in.
She leaves four children, Jane Marie Sullivan of Lowell, Jo Ann Nichols and her husband Robert of Billerica, Richard “Rick” McNeil and his wife Gina (Bellzarini) of Billerica, Randy McNeil and his wife Kris (Combs) of Billerica; six grandchildren, Robbi and Jeremy Sullivan of Lowell, Tyler Nichols and his wife Amanda of Fitchburg, Devan Nichols, Ryan and Kassidy McNeil all of Billerica; a beloved sister, Barbara Mastrangelo and her husband Ralph of Peabody; many cousins, nieces and nephews, including a beloved cousin Karen Randall of Saugus, and special niece Dani Jean Stuart of NH.
Her funeral services were held Wednesday, August 27, in the funeral home. Interment at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody was be private. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association of MA, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472, will be appreciated.
