Albertina Ledo DePina (85) of Brockton died August 23rd in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the widow of the late Joao DePina.
She was born in Mosterio, Fogo, Cape Verde and was a resident of Brockton since 2001. Albertina was devoted to her family and loved to cook and clean in true cape verdean fashion.
Survivors include 3 sons Joao R. DePina of Portugal, Adelino and Jose DePina both of Brockton, 3 daughters Anita DePina of Brockton, Domingas DePina of Fogo, Cape Verde and Maria Daluz DePina of Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, 2 brothers Mario DePina of Brockton and Mario Ledo Pontes of Fogo, Cape Verde. A sister Francisa DePina of Fogo, Cape Verde. Many grand and great grandchildren, mother of the late Ramiro and Serjio DePina.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday Morning August 27th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday August 26th from 5-9 pm.
