Frances Catherine Golden, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, August 22, 2014, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Golden was born March 23, 1937, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Cecil and Elizabeth Troupe Taylor. She had lived in the community since 1969 and was a former lab technician for Deep South in Fitzgerald. Mrs. Golden loved to garden, work in her yards, make ceramics and also she loved antiques. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Revon Roland Golden of Fitzgerald; her two sons: Gary L. Ford, Sr. & Kimberly of Fitzgerald and Glen Ford & Danyelle of Prosper, Texas; seven grandchildren; three great-grand children; a brother: Hardy Taylor & Mattie of German Town, Tennessee. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister.
