TAUNTON – Alfred Viera of Taunton, formerly of Dighton, died at Golden Living Wedgemere in Taunton on Aug. 18, 2014.
He was 81 years old.
Born in Dighton, he was the son of the late Manuel and Florence (Talbot) Viera. A construction worker, he also worked as a self-employed farmed and ran a flower stand in Buzzard’s Bay for some time many years ago.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Viera and Richard Viera, and a daughter, Cheryl Viera.
Funeral arrangements are private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be at the Massachusetts National VA Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
