Obituary

TAUNTON – Scott R. “Bluto” Bonneau, husband of Diane M. (Silva) Bonneau, passed away at his Taunton home on Aug. 15, 2014, following a long battle with MS.
He was 45 years old.
Born in Middleboro, he was the son of Sherry (Keith) Bonneau of North Port, FL and the late Ronald Bonneau.
Raised in Lakeville, Scott was a 1986 graduate of Apponequet High School.
He later earned a degree in Environmental Management from Bridgewater State University.
A proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of Desert Storm, Scott was employed by UPS as a driver for 20 years before retiring due to disability.
A renowned “motor head”, he enjoyed working on cars, and was a NASCAR fan.
His favorite pastime was enjoying the company of his wife, family and friends.
Scott was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves a sister, Kim Wilson of Hanson; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Monday, Aug. 25th at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at the Massachusetts National VA Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Aug. 24th from 4 to 7 p.m.
