Lambert, Shirley Ann (Wardrip), 76, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014 with her family by her side.
Shirley was born on September 9, 1937 to the late Willard and Hazel Wardrip. She was a homemaker, mother and a member of Dixie Valley Church of God.
Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William (Bill) H. Lambert Jr. and three brothers, Sonny, Gilbert and Allen Wardrip.
Survivors include her two children, Diane White and Brian Lambert; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Dixie Valley Church of God, 4703 Quinn Drive with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and after 9:00 am Friday at her church.
