RAYNHAM – Sergio M. Perez, husband of the late Sharon A. (Chamberlain) Perez, died at the Guardian Center of Brockton on Aug. 17, 2014.
He was 68.
Born and educated in Cuba, he was the son of the late Sergio and Ana Maria (Martinez) Perez.
Mr. Perez had resided in the area since moving from Cuba in 1966.
An auto mechanic by trade, he also ran a fruit stand in Raynham for many years.
He enjoyed golfing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Survivors include three daughters, Christine M. Tower and her husband William of Taunton, Candice Perez of Bridgewater, and Becky Catino and her husband Robert of Raynham; a sister, Nilda Berto of Fall River; three grandchildren, Brittany and Nicole Tower, and Robert Catino, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday Aug. 22nd at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 21st from 5 to 8 p.m.
