In Taunton, August 17, 2014 Velma P. (Feener) Bliss wife of the late Charles W. Bliss died at Marion Manor Nursing Home at the age of 102. Born in Taunton, Velma was the daughter of the late William R. and Nettie (Paynter) Feener. Velma worked for the Foxboro Company and for General Findings in Attleboro. She was a member of the Taunton D.A.V post 57, V.F.W post 611 in Taunton and was a former volunteer for the Brockton Veterans Hospital. She was the mother of Raymond Jackson of Norton, Audrey Pike of Wareham and Carol Ann Walker of Attleboro and Denmark, Maine. Grandmother of eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sister of the late Edna Stlter. A graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery, Bourne MA at 11:15 AM on Thursday, August 21st. In lieu of flowers donations in Velma’s memory may be made to the Taunton D.A.V Chapter 57, 5-7 Taunton Green, Taunton, MA, 02780.
