Richard W. Pearse, 74, of Salem, NH died Thursday, Aug. 14th at his home.
He was born and educated in Melrose, MA, graduating from Melrose High School and Wentworth Institute in Boston, MA. He was Director of Maintenance Engineering for Melrose Wakefield Hospital for 51 years.
Richard loved animals and rescued track horses. His friendly and easy going manner were his signature.
He was predeceased by his brother, George Pearse, Jr.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Patricia (Moore) Pearse of Salem, NH; his daughters, Lisa Pearse of Stratham, NH and Karen and her husband JR Reynolds of Stratham, NH, his brothers, Donald Pearse of AZ and David Pearse of Gilford, NH and several nieces and nephews including Jennifer, Mary Beth and Tim.
Calling hours will be Sunday, August 17th from 3-5 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
Funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
