Obituary

Gilford, NH-----Ronald Mark Nartiff, 61, of 66 Yasmin Drive, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Gilford on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Mr. Nartiff was born September 18, 1952 in Methuen, Mass., the son of Stanley and Claire (Duffy) Nartiff. He resided in Lawrence and was a member of the graduating class of 1971 at Lawrence High School. He moved to Gilford twenty-seven years ago and has been employed at Raytheon for the past forty years.
Ronnie loved his family and friends and was always prepared to act when people needed his help. One unique aspect of Ronnie’s personality was his playful demeanor. Ronnie was always joking with both adults and children alike. Nothing brought him more satisfaction than seeing those around him overcome with laughter. His family and friends have many cherished memories shared with him boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and spending time at the beach. Ronnie enjoyed hosting parties with his wife Sharon. Ronnie, a grill master, made sure that not a single person went home hungry. In his spare time he went fishing, explored nature, and took trips to the ocean with his loved ones. He was an avid sports fan and would watch the New England Patriots on Sundays with his son. Ronnie’s loved ones remember him for his undying will to improve and brighten the lives of everyone he met.
