Obituary

Felice Coppellotti of Natick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital of Boston.

He was eighty-seven years old and one week shy of his eighty-eighth birthday.

Born in Parma, Italy, he was the son of the late Manfredo and Celesta (Zani) Coppellotti of Italy. Felice came to the United States in 1954 to live his family then returned to Italy and found the love of his life in his wife Anna.

They returned and married in 1959 and continued to live in the States, settling in Natick. He was a self-employed mason from 1960 until 1980 and then worked for the Town of Natick as a custodian for twenty years.

He built his own home in Natick, enjoyed working in his garden, spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren.

He was a Natick resident and a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Natick for over fifty years and a member of ITALO American Educational Center of Wellesley.

He was a real go getter, strong willed, happy-go-lucky and quick with a joke.

Felice was the devoted husband of Anna (Martinelli) Coppellotti of Natick. He was the loving father of Silvana “Si” DiGiandomenico and her husband Frank of Framingham. Cherished grandfather of Amanda and Michael DiGiandomenico, both of Framingham.

Caring brother of Italo Coppellotti and his wife Iole of Natick, Giovanni Coppellotti and his wife Emma of Bore, Italy and the late Alice Mortarelli, Gino Coppellotti, Dolinda Coppellotti, Natalina Guarnieri and three other deceased siblings. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Monday, August 18th at 9:00AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.

Visiting hours Sunday from 5:00-8:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.
