Dorothy J. “Dot” Queenan, 88, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at Beth Israel in Boston on August 11th surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Francis of Plymouth for 67 years, and loving and most giving mother to Carolyn Furtado and her husband Allan of Plymouth, Paul and his wife Nancy of Fountain Hills, AZ; Eileen of Hanson, Kathleen Baragwanath and her husband John of Plymouth, Brian and his wife Grazyna of Plymouth and Francis of Quincy. Loving sister of Isabella LoRe’ of NJ; Nancy Martin Li of NY and Carol Martin of VT. Loving grandmother of Andrea O’Donnell, Paul Queenan Jr, Danielle Basinski and Michael, Brian and Joshua Queenan and also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 11 AM. All services at the funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Cardinal Cushing Center, 405 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339.
