Worcester – Raymond R. Lavallee, 71, of Worcester, died in his home on Monday, August 11th after an illness.
Raymond was born in Worcester, son of the late Leo Lavallee Sr. and Estelle (Dumais) Lavallee. He is survived by a brother, Leo “Butch” Lavallee of Millbury as well as nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lavallee worked for many years as an office clerk at Notre Dame Cemetery. Ray was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and served as the Financial Secretary for 23 years with the Leicester Knights of Columbus and for 18 years with the John Cardinal Wright Assembly of the Knights of Columbus.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, August 14th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 12:30 in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 11 to 12 in the funeral home before the funeral.
