Obituary

Laconia-----Lucien R. “Butch” Dulac, Jr., 58, of 13 5 Academy Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, August 8, 2014.
Butch was born September 27, 1955 in Laconia, N.H., the son of the late Genevieve (Robichaud) and Lucien R. Dulac, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Laconia. Beginning at age 17, Butch worked for a number of well companies throughout his career, such as Daniel’s Artesian Well, Capital Well, RJ White and Gilford Well. After his retirement, he enjoyed working in the pit for Granite State Aggregate.
Butch loved his family and NASCAR and was a member of the Laconia Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheri Minor and her husband, Timothy, of Laconia; a son, Scott Dulac, and his significant other, Elena Hann, of Laconia; four grandchildren, Chelsea Bean, Meya Minor, Parker Minor and Somer Dulac, all of Laconia; his lifelong friend and cousin, George and his former wife, Brenda Rowan, and her husband, David, of Laconia. In addition to his parents, Butch was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Fogg) Dulac, in 2010.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11AM to 4PM at the Laconia Rod & Gun Club, 358 S Main St, Laconia, NH. A private burial will be held at a later date at the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, N.H.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Laconia Rod and Gun Club Santa Jam Fund, 358 South Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
