NEW BEDFORD — Claire M. (Shultz) Wampole, age 85, of New Bedford, died Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Savoy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Albert Wampole.
Daughter of the late Philip and Esther (Miller) Shultz, she is survived by her brother Herbert Shultz and sisters Muriel Falk, Beverly Cussell and Thelma Reservitz, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in New Bedford, she had lived here, Palm Beach, Florida and New York City and was active in theater and was a talented poet.
Her graveside service will take place on Tuesday, August 12th at 10:30 a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery on Parker St., New Bedford.
