Rita P. (LeBlanc) Farnkoff, age 86, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Wilmington passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014 at the Sturgil Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL. She was born on March 7, 1928, in Everett, MA, and was the daughter of the late Agnes R. (Haggerty) LeBlanc and Joseph D. LeBlanc.
Rita was the beloved wife of the late George H. Farnkoff and together they resided in Wilmington, MA for many years prior to his death. Rita stayed at home for many years dedicated to taking care of her family. She also had enjoyed going to the movies and taking her beloved dog Conan for walks. Rita is survived by her sons, George Farnkoff of Spring Hill, FL, Robert Farnkoff and his wife Cheryle Feirick of Effingham, NH, John Farnkoff and his wife Michelle of Methuen, MA, and Gregory Farnkoff of Spring Hill, FL.; four grandchildren, Eric and his wife Danielle, Kylee, John M., and Alyssa; three great grandchildren, Ella, Logan, and Liam.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14th, at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In keeping with Rita’s wishes there will be no calling hours. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rita’s memory to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home of Wilmington.
