Helen C. (Kreshpane) Verra of Framingham passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence of Wayland. She was ninety-three years old.
Born in Ashland, Massachusetts on June 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Lambi and Angelica (Ripaldi) Kreshpane.
A devoted wife of the late Thomas Verra, Sr. with whom she shared fifty-seven years of marriage. Helen and her husband ran the 1812 Taylor Shop on Route 9 in Framingham for over twenty years.
She loved her two granddaughters, was a talented seamstress, a consummate Albanian Cook, a member of the Vetima Society of the Albanian Church of Natick and enjoyed collecting dolls.
Mrs. Verra was the loving mother of Thomas Verra, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Framingham. In Helen’s later years, she could always be seen in the company of her daughter-in-law, companion and constant caregiver, Maureen.
Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Kathleen Verra.
Caring sister of Karl Kreshpane and his wife Beverly of Auburndale, Harry Kreshpane and his wife Patricia of Holliston and the late Loretta Sticka, Dora Stammo, George Kreshpane and Pandi Kreshpane.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Saturday, August 9th at 9:30AM. Funeral Service in the Albanian Orthodox Church, 37 Washington St., Natick at 10:30AM.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Friday in the funeral home from 4:00-7:00PM.
Burial in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick.
