Obituary

Fred L. Hildreth of Natick died on Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Natick. He was eighty-six years old and a Natick Police Officer for twenty-six years.

Born on April 26, 1928 in Natick, he was the son of the late Fred and Emily (Torti) Hildreth.

Fred enlisted in the United States Navy and served proudly in World War II and the Korean War. After his military service, he became a patrolman for the Town of Natick and eventually the motorcycle officer.

Mr. Hildreth enjoyed time with his family, traveling across country on his motorcycle with his wife Georgia, dancing and Big Band Music.

He was the devoted husband of Georgia D. (Tosi) Hildreth of Natick with whom he shared thirty-eight years.

He was the loving father of Diane Morrill and her companion Leonard Jennings of Natick, Donald Morrill of Forestdale and David Morrill and his wife Malissa of Fort Mill, SC.

Cherished Nano of Carol Amell and her husband Ryan of Hudson, Jesse and Jared Morrill of Forestdale and Samantha Morrill of Fort Mill, SC.

Great Nano of Olivia Amell of Hudson.

Loving brother of Rita Antalek and her late husband Babe of Bellingham.

Brother-in-law of Barbara Tosi and her late husband Bob of Dover and Barbara Murray and her late husband Gerard of Marshfield.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Visitation will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Friday, August 8th from 4:00-7:00PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fred’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
