Rita G. (Cass) Marsh, of Natick and formerly of Dedham and Sandwich, died August 3, 2014 at the Kathleen Daniels Nursing Home in Framingham. She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Marsh who died in 1961.
She was born in Somerville to the late William and Gertrude (Goddard) Cass.
Rita worked for NL Industries of Westwood, operated the switchboard for Sears and was a secretary for E.C.A.C in Barnstable, MA. She also was a volunteer for Metro West Medical Center and a Poll worker for the Towns of Dedham and Natick.
She is survived by her children William F. Marsh, Jr. and his wife Irene of Brockton, Susan M. Salvi and her late husband Walter of Natick, Janet Morin and her husband Jerry of Pembroke, Richard Marsh of Clearwater, FL, Mary Costantino and her husband Joseph L. of Dedham.
Loving Nana to Jackie and Brittany Marsh of Brockton, Janet Salvoni (Frank) of Hailey, ID, Paul Salvi (Sharon) of Natick, Liz Brown (T.R.) of Marietta, GA, Jeff Morin (Suzie) of Plymouth, Kim Morin (Brian Egan) of Hanover, Zyanga and Jesse Marsh of Clearwater, FL, Jason Costantino (Cheryl Lane) of Hyde Park, Jenel Costantino of Dedham, Jayma Thompson (Orville) of Attleboro. Great grandmother to Tyler and Cooper Salvoni, Liliana and Juliette Salvi, Lucy, George, and Anna Claire Brown, Kyleigh Egan, Gabrielle and Nicholas Costantino and Logan Thompson. She was the sister to Pauline Madden of Plymouth.
She was the mother to the late David Marsh who died in 1972 and sister to the late William Cass, Robert Cass, John Cass and Theresa Kelly. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rita’s Funeral Service on Thursday, August 7th at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
Burial will be private.
