Obituary

TOURTELLOTTE, Heather Kelly of Dover, age 42, died in her summer home in Eagle Lake, Maine, surrounded by family, July 30, 2014.

She is survived by her husband Ed and their four children Chloe, Riley, Eddie and Charlie of Dover, MA. She is also survived by her parents, Mike and Eileen (Walsh) Kelly, and her sisters Morgan and Regan Kelly, all of Naugatuck, CT.
Born in Waterbury, CT,  Heather grew up in Naugatuck and attended St. Margarets-McTernan School thru 8th grade. She then graduated from Westover School’s class of 1990 in Middlebury, CT before going on to graduate from Smith College in Northampton, MA in 1994.

Living in the Atlanta suburbs after college, Heather and Ed returned to the Boston area to be closer to family and friends.  They were thrilled to put down roots in Dover 12 years ago and call this amazing community home. Heather was active in the local schools and community organizations.
In 2012 Heather was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.  Treatment seemed to be  heading in the right direction but in January 2014 Heather and Ed were told that the cancer had spread to the brain. 

Visiting hours in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Monday, August 4 from 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 30 Centre St., Dover, Tuesday, August 5 at 10 am. Interment Highland Cemetery, Dover.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the planned Highland Cemetery water feature, which includes a small waterfall, benches and landscaping not far from where Heather will be buried.
