Obituary

JAROSZEWSKI, John Christopher- Of Revere, passed away following a long illness surrounded by his loving family. John was generous, lived life to the fullest, and loved to make people laugh. He was the son of the late John and Caroline Jaroszewski of Chelsea. John attended St. Stanislaus elementary school and Chelsea High School Class odf 1963, where he was a notable athlete. He attended Massachusetts Military Academy and served as a commisioned officer in the MA Army National Guard. John graduated East Coast Aero Technical Iniversity (ECAT-U), receiving an airframe and power plant mechanics license. He recently celebrated 40 years working for U.S. Air and its predecessors. Aside from keeping the planes flying, John led volunteer efforts to convert the aircraft hanger to the North Pole for the annual Christmas Cheer Event for kids. He was the former husband of Jeanne (Gianturco), the devoted father of Matthew of Virginia, Catherine and Dan Keenanof Lake Tahoe and Adam of Cambridge. Brother of Lorraine and Henry Perry of Chelsea and Nancy and Robert MacDonald of Everett. Also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews. John was an avid motorcyclist, skier, runner, weekend golfer, road tripper, paddle boarder and enjoyed exercising at the Melrose YMCA. He fought a courageous battle against Leukemis. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday, August 5th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
