Frances L. (Erickson) Chase of Natick passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was seventy-nine years old.
Born on June 16, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Olive (Acuff) Erickson.
A 1953 graduate of Kellogg High School in Kellogg, Idaho, she then attended Washington State College for accounting.
Mrs. Chase was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, reading and since 1996, spending winters in Vero Beach, Florida with her husband John.
She was the devoted wife of John B. Chase and together, they shared fifty-three years of marriage.
She was the loving mother of Michael Chase & his wife Libby of Hampton, NH, Kevin Chase & his fiancé Kathyryn MacGreygor of Redmond, WA & Brian Chase & his wife Yumiko of Los Angeles, CA.
Cherished grandmother of Michael Chase, Jr, Elizabeth Chase, Rachel Harris & Ema Chase.
Sister of the late Charles Erickson & his wife Frankie of Pasco, WA & the late Margie Haddock & her late husband Garth. Sister-in-law of Dorothy Yamzon & her late husband Ricky of West Warwick, RI, Roy Chase & his wife Pauline of Stow & Joan Barker of N. Reading. Also survived by several nieces & nephews.
A visitation will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Sunday, August 3rd from 2:00-5:00PM.
A graveside service will be held in Dell Park Cemetery, Pond St., Natick on Monday, August 4th at 11:00AM.
