Obituary

Auburn – Doris E. (Ethier) Beaudry, 86, of Auburn, died on Tuesday, July 29th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after an illness.

Doris was married for 64 years to her husband Leo J. Beaudry, who died on February 15, 2014. She is survived by two sons, Robert Beaudry and his wife Kathryn of South Grafton and Paul Beaudry and his wife Cynthia of Brookfield; a brother, Eugene Ethier of Millbury; three sisters, Rita Beaudry of Paxton, Barbara Morrow of Worcester and Patricia Swett of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Patrick Beaudry of Worcester, Laurie Monks of Oxford, Amy Beaudry of Worcester and Lee Beaudry of Henniker, NH; two great grandchildren, Courtney Beaudry and Casey Monks, both of Oxford; and many nephews and nieces.

Doris was born in Leicester, daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Levesque) Ethier and is also predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Raymond Ethier.

Doris enjoyed many things throughout her lifetime, however, two of her favorite things to do was reading and spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at 10:30 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
